No. You take the hair sample yourself at home, following the laboratory's written instructions, and the results consultation is a private online session via Google Meet. There's no clinic visit, so living far from an HTMA practitioner isn't a barrier.

(TEI) in Addison, Texas, is used for clients in the United States and many other countries; Lifeline Diag, based in Katowice, Poland, is a European route. The appropriate laboratory is confirmed before you order, and your package includes that laboratory's own sample and shipping instructions. HTMA for Women doesn't operate a laboratory.

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a laboratory test that measures the concentrations of selected minerals and elements in a small hair sample, along with the ratios between them. It's used as complementary information alongside your symptoms, history, diet and lifestyle. It doesn't diagnose disease, confirm a deficiency on its own or replace blood testing or medical care.
